One of our favorite homemade pancakes!
3 cups whole wheat flour
3/4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 cups water (or rice milk) (I use half water half rice milk)
1 mashed whole banana

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. We sometimes add vanilla, cinnamon, and/or nutmeg. Bake in oiled frying pan or griddle. We will also make waffles out of the batter, just be sure to oil your waffle iron so they won’t stick.
yummmmmmmmmmmy! I made these for breakfast this morning and you should have heard me and my son making all sorts of oooos and ahhhhs in between bites :) Thanks Tammie!
ReplyDeleteI guess I should metion I did add the cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla AND my banana was ripe....not like black peel ripe but starting to get lots of brown on the peel
