I have been going to read this book for a while now. I kept hearing about how good it is and I finally though I better give it a go! I'm almost finished with it now and can I just say WOW! So interesting and thought provoking! Really makes you stop and think about the way we look at diet and health! I really think we tend to over complicate things! You know me I like SIMPLE!

Tammie,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to finally take a look at your blog. Thanks for all your great ideas and recipes. I am so excited to read on. Thanks for the pictures too. I am very visual and need all the inspiration I can get.

I haven't read it YET. But my midwife with Myles could not say enough good about it. And believe me she said A LOT!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to add it to my long list of MUST READS!
I just got it. I am going to read it as soon as I am done reading "In Defense of Food" which is a good read as well.
ReplyDeletelazy: I have looked through Nourishing Traditions many times and would like to get that book. It is just not the cheapest one out there;) so I keep putting it off. I did finally break down and buy Weston Price's book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. I have been reading that one but it's going slow cause I am trying to read to many at once. I hate it when I do that! ;) I think Campbell even mentions Nourishing Traditions in the China Study I think don't quote me on that. I just really appreciate unbiased study and authors giving you the truth as they see it. Which I feel he does in the China Study! Some of the results of his studies are mind boggling I think you will really enjoy the book!
ReplyDeleteI finished listening to the audioversion of The China Study and posted about it.
