The China Study

I have been going to read this book for a while now. I kept hearing about how good it is and I finally though I better give it a go! I'm almost finished with it now and can I just say WOW! So interesting and thought provoking! Really makes you stop and think about the way we look at diet and health! I really think we tend to over complicate things! You know me I like SIMPLE!

Who has read this? What do you think of it? (I wanna hear don't hold back we can learn so much from each other) I think everyone should read at least some of it! If you have not read it yet please put it on your list of things to read soon! When I'm done reading it I will share some of my thoughts and maybe a few quotes!

  1. Tammie,
I'm glad to finally take a look at your blog. Thanks for all your great ideas and recipes. I am so excited to read on. Thanks for the pictures too. I am very visual and need all the inspiration I can get.

  3. I just got it. I am going to read it as soon as I am done reading "In Defense of Food" which is a good read as well.

  4. lazy: I have looked through Nourishing Traditions many times and would like to get that book. It is just not the cheapest one out there;) so I keep putting it off. I did finally break down and buy Weston Price's book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. I have been reading that one but it's going slow cause I am trying to read to many at once. I hate it when I do that! ;) I think Campbell even mentions Nourishing Traditions in the China Study I think don't quote me on that. I just really appreciate unbiased study and authors giving you the truth as they see it. Which I feel he does in the China Study! Some of the results of his studies are mind boggling I think you will really enjoy the book!
